You do not need a dedicated HTML editor to work in HTML, you can use a simple text editor like WordPad, but you may find it easier to use an HTML editor, listed below.

It is important to select an HTML editor that offers a "text editor" or "code" view,not just the WYSIWYG view, so that you will be able to use it to write and learn HTML and CSS code.
